Lecture Topics Outline |
Students are expected to intern for a total of 320 hours at the selected practicum site for the duration of the semester. Practicum schedules are to be arranged with your site supervisor. All students must attend the scheduled on-campus meetings with the course instructor. Your practicum attendance is to be treated as a job. If you are not able to keep your schedule, you Must contact the site supervisor in a timely manner, and email your instructor to inform that you will be on site during your scheduled time. The student is ultimately responsible for his/her own learning and professional growth, what you put into it is what you will get out of it! It is your responsibility to conduct a realistic self-appraisal of what you personally need to master and how you can best attain it. Challenge yourself to grow as an individual and a professional. Each student must post an original thread and respond to at least two other students by the due date. A requirement of the original post must be at least 3 complete sentences. The post and responses are to be submitted by due date. The thread will open weekly on Mondays at 8:00 am and will close on Sundays at 11:59 pm.
